No Closing Today
We did not close on the house today. We have been told that the appraiser who screwed up the paperwork has finally been tracked down and that today he straightened out the mess he made. It is possible that we might close tomorrow afternoon but probably it won't be until Fri. It isn't really a big deal one way or the other.
Kathy has been working and working and working and...... She will need a month of rest to recuperate.
Since we did not close this morning we were able to attend the graduation of one of the Teen Challenge girls who I tutored. (God just works everything out.) Her story was quite stunning.
Doug came out and while he helped Kathy I picked up the enclosed U-Haul trailer that we will use to go to TN. I parked it by the garage and then went back and got an open trailer to use to haul stuff down to Dougs. It took 2 trips to get the the things he is storing down to his house. Anthony helped him unload the first load and then came back with him to help with the piano. Once again God provided. Some neighbors came down to say goodbye and they were still here when Doug and Anthony came back. Mitch helped load the piano. When we got down to Doug and Anthony's some of their friends just happened by and helped unload the piano.
It is raining quite hard here, and there is a thunderstorm warning. On the way back from Indy the lightening show was spectacular. It didn't start raining until after I had dropped off the trailer and made it home.
The house is now empty. The attached garage still has stuff in it that has to be put in the trailer but we (Kathy) made great headway today. Doug is coming up again tomorrow to help get the few remaining heavy pieces from the garage into the trailer.
It was hot and sticky here today. The good news is that the high tomorrow is only supposed to be 81 degrees and the overnight low tomorrow night is supposed to be 59.
Guess that is all for tonight.
Good night and may God bless you and yours.
