Crazy Love
I'm reading a book called Crazy Love, along with a couple of guys I have breakfast with on Wednesday's. This weeks chapter asks the questions, "Do you realize that in the next few seconds you could leave this life and be standing in front of God?" and "Would you live your life different if you really could get a handle on this concept?" I'm sure that I would. I bet that I would stopped to help the stranded motorist Monday night, rather than rationalizing that the person had a cell phone and someone was probably already coming to get them. No doubt I would do a lot of things different. The chapter is not negative. It also talks about worry and stress. There is no reason for a Christian to worry or be stressed out. God is in control. I will screw up but that won't change the fact that God loves me.
